An investigation is underway as police are look into a case where a woman was spiked and injured in Weymouth.
It is believed the victim - in her 20s - was targeted at a venue in The Esplanade in the early hours of last Sunday.
Police say they've reviewed CCTV to trace her movements - and want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
Detective Sergeant Ben Turner, of County CID, said: “A full investigation has been launched into this incident and the victim continues to be supported by officers.
“We are carrying out enquiries to establish how the victim sustained her injuries and understand the full circumstances of what happened.
“As a result of CCTV enquiries we have established some of the victim’s movements, but we are now keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity on the beach or captured dashcam footage while travelling in the area of The Esplanade, specifically between the King’s Statue and Alexandra Gardens between 1.30am and 2am.
“We appreciate this incident may cause concern for the public and our officers can be approached by anyone with any information or concerns.”
