Witnesses sought after burglary at Maiden Newton fire station

Police are investigating a burglary at Maiden Newton fire station in Dorset.

According to reports received at 11.34am on Saturday, 13th June 2026, there was a break-in at the station resulting in damaged windows and stolen equipment.

The incident occurred overnight between Friday, 12th June and Saturday, 13th June 2026.

Police Constable Richard Robson of Dorset Police stated: “We have launched a full investigation into this incident and are carrying out detailed enquiries to identify those involved.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of the fire station overnight between Friday, 12th June and Saturday, 13th June 2026, or who may have captured relevant CCTV footage, to please contact us.”
