Police investigate dangerous driving in Poole incident

A dangerous driving incident in Poole is being investigated by police.

At around 9am on Good Friday officers spotted a white Ford Transit van travelling in excess speed on the Dorset Way toward the Tower Park Roundabout.

It is reported that the vehicle failed to stop and drove on the wrong side of the road on the Upton bypass before travelling into Upton.

Police Constable Josh Hurwood, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries to try and locate the driver of the vehicle.

“I am appealing to any motorists who were travelling in the area around the relevant time and saw what happened to please come forward.

“If you were driving along the Upton Bypass and have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle, please get in touch with the footage to help our investigation.”
