Police appeal for witnesses following Weymouth Hotel burglary

Two suspects gained entry to seven rooms at The Russell Hotel and stole cash and jewellery.

Police are continuing to investigate a burglary at a hotel in Weymouth.

Between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday 29 May 2025, suspects gained entry to seven rooms at The Russell Hotel on The Esplanade and various items were stolen, including cash and jewellery.

Police Constable Robert Coram, of Weymouth police, said: “We are continuing our investigation and are now in a position to issue images of two men we would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch.”
