Police appeal for two men after sexual assault in Gillingham

Officers say two teenage girls aged 14 were sexually assaulted at the Tractor Fest event held at the Turnpike Showground

Two teenage girls aged 14 were sexually assaulted at the Tractor Fest event held at the Turnpike Showground in Gillingham.

The incidents occurred around 10pm on 6th June 2026 in the area between the music stage and VIP toilets.

The girls were approached by two men.

One man reportedly touched one of the teenagers inappropriately over her clothing and attempted to kiss her.

The second man reportedly touched the other victim inappropriately over her clothing.

The first suspect is described as white, five feet ten inches tall, muscular, with blond hair.

He wore a burgundy Ralph Lauren shirt and green boots.

The other suspect is described as white, six feet tall, of average build, with platinum blond hair.

He was wearing a red and white rugby shirt with an O2 symbol on it.

Sergeant Matt Brennan from North Dorset police expressed ongoing support for the victims and highlighted active investigations are underway.

Police appeal for information

Sergeant Brennan said: “We are continuing to support the victims and are carrying out a full investigation into this matter.

“I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries to please come forward.

“I would also urge anyone who attended the event to please review any photos or video footage taken during the evening to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
