Police appeal after man, 30s, hospitalised in Poole crash

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a motorbike in Poole last Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened at 5.17pm on 17th February 2026 on the A3049 Canford Way.

The driver of the car reportedly left the scene, leaving the rider of a red Honda motorbike injured.

Police Sergeant Chris Brolan from Poole police is urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage that could assist in the investigation to come forward.

“We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am really keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened," Sgt Brolan said.

“Also, I would like to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
