Police appeal after assault in Wimborne

Dorset Police have issued images of two men they'd like to identify after an assault in Wimborne.

The incident happened last month at a local pub.

Officers said: "At around 10.10pm on Saturday 22 March 2025, it is reported that two members of door staff at The Man in the Wall pub in West Borough were assaulted by two men after refusing them entry.

"The staff members were reportedly punched and pushed before they were able to get the men to leave."

Police Constable James Third, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing our enquiries into this incident and are now in a position to release images of two men we would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch.

“Also, if you were in the area at the time and saw what happened I am appealing for you to come forward with information.”
