Public comments on the plans remain open
A drinks licence is being requested for a new Sherborne venue – offering family dining in the day and a smokehouse-style eatery at night.
The application to Dorset Council’s licensing team is for a former shop premises, next to the Post Office, at 49 Cheap Street. It has been submitted in the name of Miss Raychalle Squibb.
In the proposal, for the 9am to 1230am Premises Licence. Miss Squibb says: “The business will open daily from 8 AM, serving a full breakfast and coffee menu until mid-afternoon. In the evening, the venue transitions to a casual smokehouse/rotisserie-style restaurant, focusing on slow-cooked meats, spread between two floors and a courtyard garden.”
An earlier closing time is proposed for Sundays at 10.30pm with provision for recorded music each day and live music from 8pm until 10.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and from noon until 10.30pm on Sundays.
Public comments on the proposal remain open until November 18th.
