Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Poole

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash near Poole.

Emergency services were called to the A350 Blandford Road North near the Beacon Hill junction at 5.59pm on Saturday evening (31 May).

Police say a blue Renault Clio and a black Yamaha motorcycle were involved.

The injuries suffered by the rider, aged in his 50s, aren't believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Sergeant Chris Brolan, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances of this collision, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also urge motorists who were in the area to please review any dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.

“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
