Man jailed for over four years for drug offences
He has been jailed
A man has been jailed for four years and two months after officers uncovered a large quantity of cocaine and cash during a vehicle stop in Poole.
36 year-old Jake Musselwhite of Poole, was sentenced on Friday.
In April officers stopped a blue Ford Fiesta in the area of Longfleet Road following reports it was involved in suspicious activity. Musselwhite was sat in the back of the car in possession of a brown paper bag which was found to contain two separate one kilogram blocks of cocaine.
Searches of the vehicle and Musselwhite uncovered additional small bags of cocaine and £1,570 in cash. The estimated street value of the drugs was a minimum of £120,000.
Detective Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset Police, said: “This is another example of our officers disrupting the activities of those involved in the suspected supply of illegal drugs.
“We hope this case demonstrates we will pursue offenders relentlessly and take robust action against anyone seeking to bring harm to our communities.”
