Man in serious condition after crash on A338
Dorset Police were called to the incident earlier this morning (13/7)
A man has been taken to hospital following a car crash involving two vehicles at the Bournemouth West Roundabout on the A338 Wessex Way.
Dorset Police reported receiving notice of the incident at 5.52am, which prompted the mobilisation of officers and the ambulance service to the location.
Road closures were implemented as emergency services managed the scene.
The vehicles involved in the collision were subsequently recovered, allowing the road to reopen at 7.50am.
The man injured in the crash is receiving medical treatment for injuries deemed serious but not life-threatening.
A woman was also transported to hospital as a precautionary measure.
