Man in life-threatening condition after Bournemouth collision
Police are appealing for witnesses

A man in his 50s is in a life-threatening condition after sustaining serious injuries in a collision in Bournemouth on Saturday.
At around 9.35am on Saturday 24 January 2026 a collision occurred in Austin Close involving a brown Honda Jazz and a male pedestrian.
The man, aged in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say his condition is believed to be life-threatening.
Police Constable Dan Yates, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into the circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please contact us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
