Man in his 70s seriously injured in Christchurch collision
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward
A man in his 70s has been seriously injured after a collision in Christchurch.
Police received a report of the incident in Stour Road, which involved a white VW Beetle and a pedestrian, at 9.08am on Tuesday 23 June 2026.
Officers attended the scene alongside the ambulance service and a road closure was put in place.
The pedestrian, a local man aged in his 70s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are now investigating and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Police Constable Jack Honnywill, of BCP police, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to the collision who have not spoken to officers yet to please come forward.
“Also, I am keen to hear from any motorists who may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
