A 24 year old man's due before magistrates in Poole today - charged over a serious sexual assault in Bournemouth
A woman in her 30s was attacked in woodland near Maxwell Road on November the 5th, around 9.20pm.
Police detained Mohammed Fathi Eltbie, an Egyptian national living in Bournemouth over the incident and he's now been charged.
Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said:, "We have continued to provide support to the victim and she has been updated with this latest development.
"This matter will be subject to active court proceedings, and it is vital that the justice process is allowed to follow its course. We would therefore urge members of the public to refrain from speculation or commentary relating to this case, particularly online and on social media."
