Gold for Tai as she continues her Commonwealth Games success
She has impressed once again
Poole swimmer Alice Tai has battled back from injury to win a third Commonwealth Games gold in the S9 hundred metre backstroke.
She wasn’t sure she’d even make it to the pool after an injury flare-up just weeks before the event.
Tai finished more than two seconds ahead of the field, and says she’s incredibly grateful to her medical team for getting her ready to race.
