Further arrests as part of robbery investigation in Blandford
Its believed a man in his 30s was assaulted by thee men in Church Lane and his phone and wallet stolen
Police have made further arrests as part of their ongoing investigation into a reported robbery and criminal damage in Blandford.
The incident occurred at around 2.30pm on 13th April 2026 in the Church Lane area, when a man in his 30s was reportedly approached by three men and assaulted.
One of the men was known to the victim, who later discovered his phone and wallet had been stolen.
As part of their enquiries, officers conducted searches in the Windmill Road area.
During these searches, two police vehicles reportedly had their windows smashed.
Two men aged 52 and 18 were previously arrested on suspicion of robbery, with the 18-year-old also arrested on suspicion possessing class B drugs with intent to supply.
Both suspects were released on police bail.
Following additional enquiries, another 18-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail.
A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in relation to the damaged police vehicle.
He has also been released on bail.
Local officers are conducting enhanced high visibility patrols in the area and are available to speak with anyone who has information or concerns.
