Firefighters are currently dealing with a chemical incident at a business park in Shaftesbury.

Crews were called to Wincombe Business Park at around 9:53 am this morning (January 21).

The fire service say on arrival, crews found a chemical giving off gas which is being monitored with gas monitors and thermal imaging cameras.

A 25 meter exclusion zone has been put in place and anyone inside this area have been evacuated.

In an update at 3:20pm this afternoon Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said one appliance remained at the scene and regular air, thermal and visual monitoring of the chemical substance was continuing.
