Emergency services attended a heating oil leak in Cranborne.

Crews from Cranborne, Verwood, and Ringwood, alongside a Hazardous Material Officer, acted promptly to address the situation.

The incident involved a leak from a heating oil tank, which posed a risk of large-scale contamination to the surrounding ground.

Using an environmental kit, the teams were able to contain the leak and prevent further damage.

They awaited the arrival of a local heating engineer to continue efforts to ensure the area was safe.
