Family pay tribute to 18-year-old who died in Wareham crash
Joshua Blake was a passenger in a car that crashed on Morden Road
The family of an 18-year-old who died in a crash near Wareham say he will "always be remembered by all who knew him."
Dorset Police were called to a single vehicle collision involving a black Volvo V70 in Morden Road at around 8:42pm on Wednesday 18 February.
Joshua Blake, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle – a man aged in his 20s – and another male teenage passenger both sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment, where they remain.
Joshua's family said in a tribute:
"Joshua had only just celebrated his 18th birthday before he tragically lost his life.
“He leaves behind his loving parents Martin and Caroline, brother Samuel, sister Chloe, his wider family and many friends.
“Joshua had a passion for supercars, which he always took the opportunity to photograph. He enjoyed riding his motorbike.
“He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed, always remembered by all who knew him.”
Police are supporting Joshua's family and investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
