Dorset kickboxers take on 12 hour challenge in memory of Jenson

Kickboxers in Dorset are taking on a 12-hour charity challenge today in memory of a 12-year-old boy who died from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Mission Jensen is running at Tesco Dorchester from 7am until 7pm, with children and adults completing a continuous Jab & Cross Challenge.

The event has been organised by IMA Rising Stars, where Jensen’s sister is a kickboxer.

Participants are taking part in pairs for 30-minute slots, with organisers hoping to keep the challenge going throughout the day.

The event is raising money and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a muscle-wasting condition which mainly affects boys.

Organisers say it’s a chance to remember Jensen while supporting other families affected by the condition.
