Witnesses and dashcam footage sought after motorbike and car crash in Dorchester

Police seek information after driver reportedly left scene

A collision involving a car and a grey Yamaha motorbike occurred on the A37 Long Ash Lane in Dorchester around 8.30pm on Saturday 7th March 2026.

It has been reported that the driver of the car left the scene after the crash.

The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, suffered a minor leg injury.

Police Constable Christina Macken from Dorchester police is conducting investigations into the incident.

She said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am really keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

“Also, I would like to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area on the evening of Saturday 7th March 2026 and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
