Three people hospitalised following multi-vehicle crash near Dorchester

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area while an investigation is launched

Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious multi-vehicle collision near Dorchester.

Officers from Dorset Police were alerted to an incident taking place on the A35, near the Stinsford roundabout close to the A352 at around 1:15pm on Saturday afternoon (March 29th).

When responders arrived at the scene, they found that four cars had collided with each other on the roundabout.

Emergency services, including Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene to treat people and give immediate medical attention.

A statement from Dorset Police confirmed that investigations had been launched and that three people who were in the vehicles were being taken to hospital for treatment.

On top of this, emergency services urged motorists to avoid the area, with road closures in place as enquiries continue.
