Witnesses sought after charity shop burglary in Sturminster Newton
Cash stolen from The Friends of Blandford Hospital shop
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at The Friends of Blandford Hospital charity shop in Sturminster Newton.
The incident occurred between 4.30 pm on 30th September and 9.45 am on 1st October 2026, with entry gained to the shop located on Station Road, and cash stolen from the premises.
Investigations are being led by Police Constable Ed Lewis of the Sturminster Newton Neighbourhood Policing Team.
PC Lewis said, "We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist our investigation."
He expressed a particular interest in hearing from anyone who noticed suspicious activity near the shop or to the rear of the store in Innes Court during the evening and early hours in question.
