CCTV appeal after reported assault in Bournemouth
It happened in July
Officers are issuing images of a man they would like to identify, after an alleged assault, in Bournemouth.
At around 11pm, on Wednesday 15 July 2026, it is reported that two men were assaulted ,outside Istanbul Food Centre, on Old Christchurch Road.
One of the victims sustained an injury to his jaw and received medical treatment. The second victim sustained injuries, which are not believed to be serious.
A 23 year-old man, from Bournemouth, was arrested, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released under investigation.
Police Constable Ollie Chant, of BCP CID, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and have obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.
“I would ask anyone who may recognise him to please get in touch.”
