Boscombe shop staff assaulted while confronting suspicious behaviour

Police in Boscombe are seeking help from the public to identify two men involved in an assault at a shopping centre.
The incident occurred on 11th June 2026 at Lidl in the Sovereign Centre, Christchurch Road.
Two men were reported to have been acting suspiciously at the till area and were confronted by a member of staff.
One of the men threw a food can at the staff member, though no injuries were reported.
The men then allegedly shouted racial abuse at another staff member and threatened a third before leaving the store.
Police Constable Shaun Fewell of Dorset Police expressed the need for public assistance as initial inquiries advance.
Following investigations, an image of the two men has been released with hopes anyone can assist in identifying them.
