A recycling centre in Dorchester has been closed and the bomb squad called after a suspected ordnance was found.
Dorset Police say officers were called to the waste recycling centre in St George's Road at around 10:54am this morning (10 September) after a report that a suspected ordnance device had been discovered.
The force added that a cordon was in place at the site and Explosive Ordnance Experts would be attending the scene.
The public are being advised by officers to avoid the area.
