Appeal after robbery at shop in Bournemouth
It happened yesterday
Officers, investigating a robbery at a shop in Bournemouth, are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward.
At around 8.30pm yesterday (Sunday 20 September 2026), two men entered Nisa Local, on Cranleigh Road and filled a bag with alcohol.
They were approached by a staff member and subsequently assaulted him. He did not sustain any serious injuries.
During the incident, the staff member’s watch fell off his wrist to the floor and the offenders picked it up and stole it.
Police Constable Sarah Dutton, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses who were in the area and saw what happened, to please come forward.
“I am aware there was a member of the public in the store at the time, who assisted the victim and may have filmed some of the incident and I would like to speak to them, to take their account of what happened.
“If you have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV, or dashcam footage, while driving along Cranleigh Road, please contact us.
“This is a shocking incident on a member of staff, who was just doing his job and I will be exploring all avenues, to bring the offenders to justice and need the public's support for this. Please get in touch with any information, however little you think it may be.”
