Appeal for next of kin after man dies in Shaftesbury

The coroner in Dorset has launched an appeal to help find the next of kin of a man who died last week in Shaftesbury.
77-year-old Anthony Couty died at his home address in Glyn Place on Friday 2 May 2025.
We're told his death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed.
Coroner’s Officer Lucy Manuel said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate his next of kin.
“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
