Authorities in Weymouth are seeking assistance from the public following a report of an indecent act that occurred in The Esplanade area.
The incident was reported at around 9.45 pm on Saturday, 1st August 2026, when a man was allegedly seen performing an indecent act through a window at a location along The Esplanade.
Police's statement and plea for assistance
Police Constable Sam Welch from the Weymouth force highlighted the importance of community input in solving the case.
“Behaviour of this nature is not acceptable, and we are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances," Welch said.
“I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation. I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area of The Esplanade around the relevant time to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
