Appeal for witnesses following dangerous driving near Bridport
Police seek information on incident involving Mercedes and Ford Ranger
West Dorset Police are seeking witnesses to a dangerous driving incident that occurred near Bridport on the evening of Saturday, 5th September 2026.
The incident involved a silver Mercedes E350 that reportedly collided with a black Ford Ranger on the A35, near Goodens Hill, around 8.15pm.
Following the collision, the driver of the Mercedes departed the scene at high speed, heading towards Charmouth.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
It is believed the drivers of both vehicles are acquainted with each other.
Police Constable Abi Snelling has urged anyone who observed the driving behaviours of the vehicles or captured relevant footage on a dashcam to reach out.
