Another fire's broken out at Moors Valley Country Park near Ringwood this afternoon (Tuesday 1st April) - with 50 firefighters tackling the flames.

It comes just a day after crews were needed to put out flames in a large area of woodland.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue tell us they were called out just after 2.00pm to reports of a 'fire in the open'.

Crews from Christchurch (x2), Redhill Park, Wimborne, Poole (x2), Westbourne, Verwood, two lightweight off-road vehicles from Verwood and Ferndown, alongside crews from Hampshire's Redbridge, Lyndhurst, and a water carrier from Ringwood are currently in attendance.

Beaters and multiple hose reel jets are being used to tackle the flames.

In a statement on social media, the park said they're working hard to manage the situation.

The car park has been closed to the public and there's restricted access to the site at this time.
