160 hectares of Dorset heathland has been burned due to wildfires so far this year.
The Council is asking people not to use barbecues or light fires on any open land in the countryside this weekend.
It follows a number of devastating blazes in recent weeks, including over at Holt Heath - a place which the emergency services were in attendance for more than a week.

In a statement on social media, the local authority said: "So far this year 160 hectares of Dorset heathland have burned due to wildfire, equivalent to 225 football pitches, across 37 heaths.
"This is 15 times more than all the heathland burned last year.
"This weekend, please do not use barbecues or light fires on any open land in the countryside.
"Let’s protect our wildlife and beautiful landscapes together."
