Hoardings have gone up around Bolsover's former Co-op building in a bid to deter trespassers ahead of a major regeneration project.

Bolsover District Council is set to use a share of £15m to redevelop the site on Town End, which has been closed since 2021.

The local authority says 'significant work' has been carried out, but plans are yet to be finalised for the site.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Jane Yates said: “We thank the community for your patience during this stage of the regeneration."

"We are committed to providing the district with a bright future and the plans we have will hopefully provide a boost for the local area.”
