Rosetta Life's new dance theatre performance, Learn from Us, is set to embark on a UK tour, offering audiences a profound exploration of life after brain injury through music, movement, and projections.

The tour begins on 24th April at Stanwix Theatre in Carlisle, with additional dates and venues spanning across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, culminating on 11th November.

The show features a powerful narrative centred around a mother and son, illuminating their journey in the wake of life-altering illness and advocating for independence and the role of unpaid carers.

Creative Director Lucinda Jarrett described the performance as an ambitious work that shares the perspectives of five people living with brain injury.

"This touring theatre work is designed to seed arts and health practices across the country, demonstrating how arts and health practices can help us build supportive communities," Jarrett said.

The performance involves collaborations with emerging artists living with brain injury, alongside professional performers, including singer Melanie Pappenheim and dancer Elvi Christiansen Head.

Video projections will offer global perspectives, from Indian jungles to an Australian dancer's passionate resilience.

Composer Jules Maxwell provides the music, accompanied by lyrics authored by participants living with brain injury.

Rosetta Life, celebrating its 25th anniversary, continues to champion innovative arts in health practices.

The organisation supports individuals in leading independent creative lives and advocates for the transformative power of performance arts.

Tickets are available for performances scheduled from June in Kent, Derry/Londonderry in July, Gloucester, and Reading in October, with additional dates in Barnstaple in November and further dates to be announced.
