Police appeal after Carlisle man left with broken jaw on night out
A man who was previously arrested has been released on police bail
Police are appealing for two witnesses to come forward after a man was left with a broken jaw after an assault during a night out in Carlisle.
The incident is reported to have happened between 10.30pm on Saturday 28 March and 4am on Sunday 29 March.
The victim, a 29-year-old man from Carlisle, suffered a broken jaw during the incident.
He was reportedly seen with a cut inside his mouth spitting blood.
A 30-year-old man from Wigton was arrested on suspicion of harassment, grievous bodily harm and malicious communications after the incident.
He's since been released on bail as investigations continue.
Officers are now appealing for two members of the public who helped the injured man at Aritha's Bar and later at Pizza Time to come forward.
