Man stabbed in hand during incident in Kendal

Armed police were called to an incident in Kendal, after a man was stabbed during an assault.

Officers attended the scene in Aspen Close at around 9.30am yesterday morning (3 April).

A man, in his 20s, sustained a stab wound to his hand. His injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.

Searches were carried out in the area, with residents reassured there was no wider threat to the public.
