Man hospitalised with stab injury after incident in Barrow
The incident is believed to have occurred on Cambridge Street
Emergency services were called today (16th December) after a man in his 30s suffered a suspected stab injury in Barrow-in-Furness.
Cumbria Police were called and a 27-year-old man was arrested, at approximately 3:30pm.
The incident is thought to have occurred on Cambridge Street, but the victim is believed to have made his way to the vicinity of the nearby Aldi where he was being treated.
He was then airlifted to hospital.
