Man charged with GBH after Cambridge Street incident in Barrow
The 27-year-old is set to appear in court following a serious assault

A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possessing a blade after an incident in Barrow earlier this week.
Mohammed Faqiri, 27, of Cambridge Street, was charged with the offences on the evening of 17th December and will appear at Barrow Magistrates' Court later today (18th December).
Faqiri was arrested on Tuesday following reports that a man in his 30s had suffered serious injuries during an altercation outside a house on Cambridge Street.
The injured man is currently in hospital in stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or events leading up to it, to contact them.
