Man arrested after reported rape in Whitehaven

A man has been arrested after police received reports of a rape in Whitehaven.
Officers say the report was made just before 3.30am on 25 July.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape shortly after.
He's since been released on bail with conditions.
The victim, an adult female, is being supported by specially trained officers.
An investigation is ongoing, police say.
