Police appeal continues following M6 collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which led to a section of the M6 being closed for a significant period of time.

Police were contacted shortly before 3:45am on Monday (11 August) following a collision on the M6 between Southwaite Services and junction 42.

The collision, which involved two HGVs and a car, led to both carriageways being closed resulting in significant disruption.

One of the HGV drivers suffered a minor injury, with no other injuries reported.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and if they have any relevant dashcam footage.
