The family of a man who died following a crash between his motorbike and a car on the A6 have paid tribute to him.

38-year-old Joseph Hough, known as Joe, died following the collision near Mossdale Services on the morning of 3rd January.

In a statement, his brother said, ā€œMy Brother and friend.

ā€œIt is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved little brother ā€œBearā€ Joe.

ā€œMore than a brother, you were my best friend, confidant, and a constant light.

ā€œLife feels quieter and empty now, but your memory will live on in the stories and moments we shared. Rest in peace, lil bro.ā€

Another family member said, ā€œUncle Bear.

ā€œUncle Bear (Joe) was a man of deep faith, integrity, and warmth. He was a constant source of joy in the good ones.
