The family of a man who died following a crash between his motorbike and a car on the A6 have paid tribute to him.

38-year-old Joseph Hough, known as Joe, died following the collision near Mossdale Services on the morning of 3rd January.

In a statement, his brother said, “My Brother and friend.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved little brother “Bear” Joe.

“More than a brother, you were my best friend, confidant, and a constant light.

“Life feels quieter and empty now, but your memory will live on in the stories and moments we shared. Rest in peace, lil bro.”

Another family member said, “Uncle Bear.

“Uncle Bear (Joe) was a man of deep faith, integrity, and warmth. He was a constant source of joy in the good ones.

“His legacy of kindness will never be forgotten.”
