Family of man who died on A595 pay tribute to him

Tributes have been paid by the family of a man who died in a single vehicle collision on the A595.

The relatives of Cain Pears of Ellerbeck Lane Workington wrote.

“Cain was such a popular lad and had the whole world at his feet and was carving out a wonderful future ahead of him.

“The world is a darker place without his smile and infectious laugh.

“Cain was a talented footballer and training to be quantity surveyor and loving it.

“He loved his friends, his girlfriend, and his family so dearly and we him.

“There are no words to describe the void he leaves behind as he truly touched so many lives for the good, sleep easy son xxx”

Cumbria police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or those with dashcam footage to come forward.
