Drop in anti-social behaviour across key parts of Allerdale and Copeland

Operation Enhance has seen reports fall by nearly six percent, and shoplifting in these areas is also down.

There’s been a fall in anti-social behaviour across key parts of Allerdale and Copeland, after extra police patrols were brought in.

It’s all part of Operation Enhance, which targets fifteen hotspot locations and aims to crack down on crime.

The latest figures show both anti-social behaviour and shoplifting have dropped, and police say visible patrols are making the streets feel safer for everyone.
