Dave Day 2026 set for its final ride home in honour of Hairy Biker Dave Myers
Thousands of bikers gather for charity and celebration.
Dave Day, a tribute event in memory of the late Dave Myers, one half of the renowned Hairy Bikers duo, is returning for its final edition in 2026.
Originating as a charity memorial ride in February 2024, Dave Day has expanded significantly over the years, uniting tens of thousands of bikers and supporters from across the UK and beyond.
The event has amassed over 75,000 participants and raised upwards of £250,000 for charity over its last two iterations.
Scheduled to take place today, riders from around the country will embark on a journey from the iconic Ace Café in London.
The route will include passage through the M6 Toll, which has once again granted free access to the bikers, culminating in Dave's hometown of Barrow-in-Furness.
In addition to the noteworthy ride, the weekend will feature an array of live entertainment, fundraising activities, and community gatherings, all aimed at honouring Dave Myers's legacy and supporting charitable causes.
The event offers opportunities for individuals of all ages to join in the celebrations, whether by riding, cheering from the roadside, or participating in festivities in Barrow.
The organisers emphasise that Dave Day transcends the act of riding, embodying the values of friendship, kindness, and community that were dear to Dave Myers.
