Cumbria Police set to tackle anti-social behaviour throughout December
Cumbria Police say they will crack down on any anti-social behaviour and violent crime in the area throughout December.
They will be targeting hot spot areas in the county with additional patrols as the dark nights increase.
Inspector Damian Motram says:
"We delivered last year just shy of around 5,000 hours of patrol activity, this year we will aim to deliver around 9,000 hours of patrol activity.
"We have seen a reduction in anti-social behaviour of around 38.3%.
The force say in December they have made sure more officers are patrolling the area.
