Woman dies in Carlisle house fire
Her two young children remain in care for their injuries

A 27-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a house fire in Carlisle, police confirmed today.
She passed away at 10:10pm on Wednesday (1 May) at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where she had been receiving treatment following the blaze on Cant Crescent on Monday, 28 April.
Two young children, aged four and three, also injured in the fire, remain in a stable condition at the same hospital.
A joint investigation by Cumbria Police and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service has found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
