Carlisle city centre is gearing up for the exciting Carlisle Carnivale this weekend, featuring a vibrant mix of performers, musicians, and artists from the UK, Ireland, and Sweden.
The event promises a spectacular takeover of the city centre with 20 different acts creating unique performances and encounters around The Biscuit Tin. In addition to the dazzling shows, visitors can enjoy markets, a funfair, various games, and plenty of chances to join in on the festivities.
The day will culminate in a captivating twilight procession leading to the Carnivale finale, making it an event not to be missed.
Many acts have been rehearsing at the University of Cumbria, adding the final touches to their performances for the main event.
