Bird flu has been confirmed at a site near Penrith in Cumbria.

Strict rules are in place, with a three kilometre Protection Zone and a ten kilometre Surveillance Zone now set up around the area.

Bird keepers are being told to also follow extra biosecurity measures to help stop the spread.

The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs said the birds would be humanely culled.
