Police investigate death of man in his 50s at Pelta Medical Papers in Beetham

Police are investigating the death of a man in his 50s at the Pelta Medical Papers site in Beetham following a potential industrial incident.

Officers were contacted at 2.46am on Monday, 19th October.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death.

The Health & Safety Executive has been notified as part of the investigation into the incident.
