Two Barrow men jailed for drug offences after police raid
Jaydon and Simon Morgan sentenced for involvement in drug supply
Two men from Barrow have been sentenced to a total of eight years in prison following their involvement in drug offences.
Jaydon Morgan, 20, and Simon Morgan, 43, both of Greengate Street, Barrow, were sentenced on 3rd November at Preston Crown Court for their roles in drug dealing activities. Jaydon received a sentence of three years and four months for supplying Class A and Class B drugs, and possession of Class B drugs. Simon was sentenced to four years and six months for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The sentences followed an investigation led by detectives from the Westmorland and Furness Community Serious and Organised Crime (CSOC) team. Cumbria Police executed a warrant at their residence on 11th February 2026, uncovering Class A and Class B drugs along with approximately £3,280 in cash. The substances, confirmed to be cocaine and cannabis, were valued at an estimated street value of £6,755. Officers also seized two mobile phones from the men.
A spokesperson for the CSOC unit commented on the severity of the offences, emphasising the harm caused by the illegal drug trade and the department's commitment to tackling such crimes.
Operation Alliance, Cumbria Constabulary’s campaign against serious and organised crime, facilitated the investigation and subsequent convictions.
